It attracts them<strong> nest hole<\/strong> and it works as a lighthouse.<\/p><p>A typical parasite that often enters this way is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cmelaciplus.cz\/en\/bumblebees-and-european-hornets\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Honey moth <\/a>or parasitic wasp <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cmelaciplus.cz\/en\/parasitic-wasp-melittobia-acasta-and-bumblebees\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Melittobia acasta<\/a>. For the moth, a few millimetres is enough, and for Melittobia, even a gap of less than a millimetre. The wasp Melittobia can even gnaw through the seal if it's not properly secured and it can smell the nest. It can even gnaw through a clay cap to the larva of a solitary bee.<\/p><p>We wrote about the roof solution <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cmelaciplus.cz\/en\/roof-of-the-apiary\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HERE<\/a><\/p><p>If you are making your own popcorn at home<strong>, often, a seal between the mating surfaces of the casing is indispensable.<\/strong> <strong>Some manufacturers of pills<\/strong> (bumblebee nests) have no solutions. If the roof deforms, there is immediately a problem.<\/p><p>Only one commercial manufacturer has a solution without a traditional seal. However, there is a seal there and it is formed by\u00a0 <strong>with a smooth seating surface and a polyacrylate plate<\/strong>. Furthermore, its enclosure has a double wall, which significantly reduces the risk of parasite penetration.<\/p><p>In this section we will<strong>dedicate to sealing in greater detail<\/strong>.
