Tear the material into tufts to make it fluffy and homogenous. Remove any clumps or hard lumps from it. Pick out any hard pieces or dirt from the material.<br \/>It's very good to first tear up the material, then cut it into approx. 1cm pieces and fluff it up again to make it homogeneous.
