About the project

Project objectives

Od roku 2022 Spolek Čmeláci PLUS realizuje projektové aktivity pro ČSOB a.s. zaměřené na posílení biodiverzity.

Projekt je zacílen hlavně na revitalizaci lesoparku Na Farkáně, která zahrnuje např. travní management v sadu, péči o revitalizovanou lesostep na západním svahu nebo postupné
prosvětlování javorového lesa od náletů.

Základním cílem bylo a je vytvořit unikátní příklad městského parku, kde je propojena cílená ochrana přírody s volným pohybem a rekreací místních obyvatel i zaměstnanců ČSOB.

Cíle projektu jsou od roku 2025 formulovány do dokumentu Vize Radlice,. To nám společně pomůže plánovat víc dopředu a zajistit, že to co děláme, bude udržitelné.

Vize Radlice 2025

Vytvořme uprostřed dynamicky se rozvíjejících pražských Radlic ostrov biodiverzity – pestrou, ale vzájemně provázanou mozaiku biotopů, která nabídne prostor pro odpočinek, regeneraci a setkávání místní komunity, sousedů i zaměstnanců banky.

Cíle:

Prostor sadu koncepčně otevřeme a transformujeme na luční a lesostepní biotop doplněný
extenzivním sadem s lučním podrostem.
Obnovíme a rozšíříme stepní biotop s mozaikou travnatých ploch a rozptýlenými dřevinami.,
podpoříme výskyt vzácných druhů rostlin (např. kokrhel luštinec) a živočichů (např.
zlatohlávek skvostný) a zajistíme jeho dlouhodobou ekologickou stabilitu prostřednictvím
cílené péče.
Proměníme současný stejnověký javorový nálet ve stabilní, druhově pestrý a funkční
lesopark. Tím zde podpoříme obnovení bylinného patra vedoucí k přirozené sukcesi a
nabídneme otevřený prostor pro rekreaci a komunitní využití.
Otevřeme průhled lesoparkem a místní dominantou a jediným pozůstatkem starých Radlic –
kaplí sv. Jana Nepomuckého.
Zachováme rekreační charakter nejvíce využívaných ploch, propojíme je s okolním prostorem
a postupně zvýšíme jejich vybavenost herními prvky a mobiliářem.
Pro každou z částí pozemku stanovíme výčet pravidelné péče, která povede k dlouhodobé
udržitelnosti vytvořeného prostředí.

Ondřej Hercog

Ing. Ondřej Hercog – Bumblebees PLUS z.s.

I work in IT and information security. I am actively involved in nature conservation and promotion.

He was interested in nature from a young age. He was greatly influenced by his uncle, who was an inexhaustible source of answers for him as a boy on all things related to nature. This was followed by books by E. T. Seton, G. Durrell and similar works, which he devoured and experienced. Weekends and holidays were often spent in his uncle's enormous garden – a garden full of flowers, insects and birds. It was almost the same adventures that young Durrell experienced. Then followed hiking trips with the Neskenon Indian troop with elements of scouting and Woodcraft (Woodcraft League).

Although he chose a technical education and profession for his life, he is returning to nature more and more, and bumblebees are one of those paths.

He is a founding member of the group and subsequently the association. Bumblebees PLUS z.s. of which he is also the chairman. He actively promotes the society's activities in public and in the media.

He lives in Prague in Farkán and is also the initiator of this project.

Michal Plundra

Ing. Michal Plundra – Garden and landscape architect, lecturer on ecological education programmes.

A qualified gardener from the Secondary Vocational School of Horticulture in Mělník.

The Czech University of Life Sciences Prague in Suchdol (Garden and Landscape Design), also the field of Ecology.
Nature-focused hobbies, primarily gardening, permaculture, herbalism, and education in these areas.
Designing and implementing gardens, dendrological surveys, arboriculture and landscape care, lecturing for other entities such as the Kokoza association (community gardens), the Tereza educational association (Eco-School, Globe programme), Ekocentrum Vrátkov. Reporter for garden topics on the programme Prima receptáře.

Vojtěch Koštíř

Mgr. Vojtěch Koštíř – Prague Meadow

He studies biology at the Faculty of Science, Charles University. In 2016, he co-founded the association Pražská pastvina (Prague Pasture), which combines community grazing of sheep and goats with the care of valuable protected areas. Today the association also focuses on the species protection of butterflies (e.g. Meadow Brown or Rock Grayling) and the care of an old orchard with a community apiary.
He also works as an editor for the TV show „Nedej se!“ (Don't Give Up!), where he highlights significant environmental issues and causes. He manages to inspire young people interested in biology about nature through lectures and excursions for high school students.

Matouš Marek

Mgr. Matouš Marek

In addition to his apprenticeship as a carpenter, in 2023 he graduated in geobotany (plant ecology) from the Faculty of Science at Charles University. He wrote his diploma thesis on the topic of supporting steppe vegetation with grazing. He currently tries to spend as much time as possible in nature, is profiling himself as a field botanist, and is broadening his horizons in the widest possible range of Czech biotopes.

He has a long-standing interest in nature conservation and habitats as a whole. He participates in various management activities, primarily in the Prague and Central Bohemian regions. He enjoys organising events for the public, for example, in a community orchard and its associated dwelling, the “beehive”.

Ondřej Peřina

Bc. Ondřej Peřina

Vystudoval bakalářský obor Biologie na Přírodovědecké Fakultě Univerzity Karlovy.

Po dokončení bakalářského studia se rozhodl dále pokračovat navazujícím magisterským oborem Botanika, v rámci kterého se odborně věnuje vlivu zduplikování počtu chromozomů a jeho vlivu na schopnost rostlin adaptovat se na širší klimatické podmínky.

Ing. Jana Endtová – Facility Management Manager, Specialists, ČSOB a.s.

Our buildings in Radlice are friendly not only to the people inside but also to their surroundings. One of their key features is their integration into the surrounding urban and natural environment. Therefore, through this project, we want to further support the biodiversity of natural species in this locality, thereby improving the environment not only for employees but also for residents of this beautiful part of Prague.

My hobbies include looking after my cottage and gardens, and I love the sea and mountains, and I enjoy travelling.

Ing Václav Voleman

Ing. Václav Voleman – Ekolog – ČSOB a.s.

Vašek Voleman has been interested in nature since primary school, which is why all his subsequent education went in this direction.

He completed his.

In March 2025, they took up the position of ecologist at ČSOB, where they are responsible for grounds maintenance, cleaning, the environmental management system, sustainability, employee eco-education, and the overall implementation of ČSOB's environmental policy.

In his free time, he most enjoys cycling, going to the cinema and spending time in nature, looking after his garden and aquarium, and travelling.

Within the Facility Management department, they are responsible for the bank's green maintenance, sustainability, waste management, green certifications, circular economy, employee eco-education, and many other environmental topics.
