Introduction

This section is intended for beekeepers who already have some experience and also for DIY enthusiasts who wish to modify their hives.

Likewise, the section is for manufacturers who are interested in collaborating with Čmeláci PLUS and utilising some ideas and clever solutions in their production. We have set up the following for collaboration with them rules.

Why? Commercial products are ideal for starting out and will allow a beginner keeper to get through the initial stages without any major setbacks. The things published here would be unnecessarily complicated for them at the beginning. It's better to focus on the basics at first, understand the colony's behaviour, and only then start looking for improvements and modifications tailored to the keeper's conditions. Without that foundation, potential improvements could backfire, and a beginner keeper might discover the mistake far too late.

However, those who have been involved in beekeeping for longer know that even the best hives are far from perfect. There is always room for improvement and for seeking new solutions.

This is why this section exists – we would like to offer space here for you, experienced breeders, who have some sort of trick, be it technical or methodological, which you are willing to share. Write to us and we will surely agree on cooperation. The idea will be published as your own work; we are not plagiarists. On the contrary, targeted cooperation among breeders, their mutual testing, critical views and improvements are what moves breeding forward and leads to greater success.

Nature is changing due to human influence, the climate, landscape and diversity are changing. On the other hand, technological progress is not standing still either; new materials and technologies are emerging – who among us breeders would have said, for example, 5 years ago that we would be using things from a 3D printer in our stables...

For an animal species to survive, it must be able to adapt. This is the law of nature, and even a breeder should not stand aside. Manufacturers are here to produce good things. They too should want satisfied customers and, above all, to produce functional and high-quality products.

We firmly believe that our intentions will be fulfilled and that other breeders, especially, will not stand aside with their ideas.
